Fave THREE for 2017

One of the most challenging yet favorite parts about doing what I do with my photography ministry is picking which non-profit organizations to support each year. I love supporting those around me who are involved in different missions and I also have several organizations that have no budget, no paid salary, and have such a passion for making a difference in the community, that they rely solely on donations to help people, families and/or animals. I also take into consideration those that are lesser known to help promote and educate the community of the good they're doing. So, without delay, here's my list of non-profit organizations for 2017:

Mini O'Beirne Crisis Nursery

Mission: "To prevent child abuse and neglect by providing emergency, temporary care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for children who may be at risk or whose parents are experiencing some type of crisis."

Mercy Projects (2018 mission trip to India)

How many dentists in Springfield will close their office to take their entire staff on a mission trip to India? Dr. Rob Burris is the program director for Mercy Projects, Inc. Their mission is to strive to meet the medical, dental, and spiritual needs of those less fortunate around the world and bring the love and healing of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone we can possibly reach. They place emphasis on meeting acute medical and dental needs, relieving acute pain, and establishing educational, as well as preventive programs for better long- term oral and systemic health. (Donations to Mercy Projects will help fund their 2018 mission trip to India.)

The Help Helping Paw Project

The Helping Paw Project operates solely on donations. They help find loving homes and provide medical care for senior dogs, and strive to keep every dog as healthy and comfortable as possible.
