My Fave Five for summer 2016

I’m happy to announce my partnership with a handful of non-profit organizations for the summer of 2016. My clients get to choose one their donation will go toward, which gives them a hand in supporting the community. I will choose other non-profits now and again, so please check back for updates. Remember, your donations are tax deductible. APL The Animal Protective League is a wonderful organization that takes in injured or unwanted cats and dogs and nurses them back to health to be adopted. My heart beats for animals so it is no surprise I’ve chosen the APL to be in my list of Fave Five. http://www.apl-shelter.org Helping Hands of Springfield Helping Hands does an amazing job at assisting the homeless in Springfield. Not only do they provide meals and shelter, they help the homeless get back on their feet by assisting them with finances and searching for employment. http://www.helpinghandsofspringfield.org Mary Bryant Home for the Blind My weekly ministry is to a sweet lady at this great supportive living facility. They provide a safe and secure environment for their residents along with programming, meals, transportation and healthcare. What a true blessing these folks are to visit with! I’m so thankful they’re given a place they call home to live life as independently as possible. http://www.marybryanthome.org Sojourn Shelter and Services Sojourn does so much to help victims of domestic violence feel safe as they provide counseling for women and their children who’ve been affected by abuse. They also provide preventative information for women in unhealthy relationships. Just read the statistics of abuse on their website and you’ll see why the services they provide are so very vital. http://www.sojournshelter.org Lifetime Pregnancy Center Lifetime provides free and confidential pregnancy testing and ultrasounds for expectant mothers who are considering abortion. They simply help women consider their options to make the best decision regarding their unplanned pregnancy as well as minister to them, sharing the Gospel, encouraging them to receive the love and hope of Christ. http://www.lifetimephc.org

Okay...I've actually ADDED one more!!

The James Project The James Project provides homes and support for fostering families. Their mission is : To live out the Gospel by addressing the growing need for families who can provide loving, Christ-centered homes for the abused and neglected children in our local foster care system. The James Project recruits and supports quality foster parents through the provision of homes and services. One of the most needed items on their wish list is new bedding. A $100 donation will allow them to purchase one twin mattress or one new crib (psst...so, if you book a full photo session ($100 minimum) and choose to donate to The James Project, you'll be helping them purchase much-needed items such as these).
