Fave THREE for 2018

The past 19 months has been an incredible ride! Since I've began my photography mission in May 2016, God has blessed me with 76 photo sessions which resulted in $9,115 in donations given to eight different local non-profit organizations! If you haven't seen the re-cap of my 2017 sessions, you can view it here. God is doing some big things for these organizations and I'm excited to be a part of it! I'm asking God to do some great things this year as well! Will you pray with me for the following things:

1. God would provide generous donors. My sessions are priced reasonably so that those with limited income can afford photos for their high school senior or child. But for those who can afford to give even just a little beyond the minimum fee, I pray they feel led to do so.

2. These organizations would have their needs met and others would come to know Christ through their ministry. Really, this is what my mission is about. If a simple photo session donation could provide the needs for these organizations to where they can focus on showing and sharing Christ's love to those in need in a real, tangible way, then that makes ALL the difference!

So, over the past week, I've had the joy to connect with the following organizations I've chosen to be this year's recipients of my session donations. And to be able to message them and say, "I'd like to give you some money throughout the year" makes me pretty stinkin' excited! And I absolutely love giving some smaller, lesser-known organizations a little more awareness and exposure when I can. We've got some pretty incredible people in this community who are changing lives and making this world a better place. It's time to put what's happening in and through these organizations in the spotlight!

I now present you with my 2018 partners:

Refuge Ranch

"Refuge Ranch is a 501c3 non-profit organization which reaches out to at-risk kids and families in central Illinois with a unique mentored horsemanship program. The Ranch rescues horses from situations of abuse and neglect and then invites children to come and participate in the rehabilitation of those horses as they learn about farm life, horsemanship, and service. Above all, our desire is that everyone who visits the Ranch would encounter the life changing hope of the Gospel!"

The Outlet

"The Outlet is a young men's mentoring program whose mission is to help young fatherless male youth (ages 8-22) develop the ability to make responsible life decisions, hold real meaningful spiritual values, explore their gifts, and realize their dreams. The program is designed to be a place for social interaction and recreation for young men, where they can learn about faith in God while being built up as men of character."

Wooden It Be Lovely

"Wooden It Be Lovely’s mission is to offer hope, empower and employ women healing from lives of poverty, addiction, and abuse. We do this by providing transitional employment, mentoring, recovery tools, childcare, and community. The mothers are employed to refurbish and sell donated wooden furniture alongside church and community volunteers while their young children are cared for onsite. This transitional employment empowers mothers to move towards lives of economic stability and enhanced well- being for themselves and their children."
